Aquatica was founded in 2000 by Dean Pipito in Wisconsin. For 22 years and thousands of water features later, Aquatica has consistently ranked in the TOP 10 out of 63,000 contractors nationally. Aquatica has been nationally recognized in several publications, was featured on "The Great Lakes Gardener" television program with Melinda Myers, has achieved Best of Show awards with the Metropolitan Builders Association, The Realtor's Home & Garden Shows and NARI Association along with many more. Aquatica is one of the few certified Master Aquascape contractors nationwide and is an active member of associations such as the NARI, Wisconsin Green Industry Federation, Wisconsin Landscape Contractors Association, The Wildlife In Need Center and the Southeast Wisconsin Pond Society. Aquatica has perfected many waterscaping techniques that are unique and one of a kind.

Aquatica is a collaboration of individuals with a uniquely curated set of skills and unmatched experience in designing & building nature-inspired water features and water gardens. Our inspiration is cultivated not only through experience, our inspiration and our imaginations are awakened in Nature. We set time aside every year to find new inspiration and seek out details in how water interacts with Nature and it's surroundings. We travel the state of Wisconsin and Michigan to find not only large natural waterfalls and bodies of water, but to see the creek beds interacting with fallen trees, how water rushes around a natural beaching of sand and gravel and how plants thrive in the water itself. We witness how water interacts with nature while studying it’s formations made over hundreds of years and then we bring it home to you. Our commitment to our clients begins before we even meet them…it begins here.

We truly care about the water garden industry and hold annual educational seminars on ponds, ecosystems and DIY projects. We are a community steward for local wildlife and through our industry, we promote a connection with nature and provide habitat for birds, butterflies, pollinators and local animals. We participate in community outreach with organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House and other local groups. We are highly involved with the Wisconsin Landscape Contractors Association and have been privileged to be a past president and board member for many years.
